Data driven for real results

Note: Revolution Project Ltd. is the only company in Ireland working in the Workplace Wellness industry using the Bodyguard and Biophotonic Scanner as part of their service delivery.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV) used to discern stressors, times and sufficiency of recovery and adequacy of exercise to promote health and fitness.

The Bodyguard is a professional wearable technology that measures heart rate variability (HRV). HRV is a powerful biomarker which can shed light on numerous physiological and psychological states.

Overview of Advanced Lifestyle Assessment using the Bodyguard

The three key areas (although others exist) which the data from the assessment highlights are:

1. Stress management:

  • Daily stress peaks and causes of stress
  • Warning signs of burnout and exhaustion prevention

2. Recovery enhancement:

  • Learn how to recover better and be more energised
  • Understand actions that promote recovery
  • Quantify recovery; see your sleep quality and if it is enough sleep and of sufficient quality

3. Ways to exercise smarter:

  • See the health and fitness effects of physical activity
  • Proven to motivate and sustain exercise commitments

In addition, clients can also learn about their daily energy (calorie) expenditure and, if interested, a more suitable dietary intake can be worked towards that will guide them in the direction of their goals in relation to weight management (body: shape, size and composition).

Biophotonic Scanner

Biophotonic Scanner

Measures antioxidant levels in the body

The Biophotonic Scanner is a unique tool that non-invasively measures carotenoid (antioxidant) levels in skin tissues using the long-accepted science of Raman Spectroscopy. By simply placing the palm of your hand in front of the Scanner’s low-energy blue light, you will obtain your Skin Carotenoid Score (SCS) within seconds.

The Biophotonic Scanner is used to measure the level of carotinoid antioxidants in skin.

Carotenoids are organic pigments found in fruits and vegetables that are primarily responsible for giving them their red, orange and yellow colours. The more colourful fruits and vegetables you eat, the more carotenoids you give to your body, the higher your SCS will be.

Factors affecting your score (red is low, grey is high)

Factors affecting your score (red is low, grey is high)

Examples of carotenoids include: Beta-carotene, Lutein and Lycopene.

Depending on your dietary habits, the presence / quality of your supplementation practices as well as a host of other lifestyle habits and the capacity of your body to absorb carotenoids, your individual SCS may vary. Once you know your SCS, you can take steps to improve it and hence the state of your internal health.

Revolution Project Ltd. uses your SCS score to track your improving internal health over time as a means to motivate you to take the actions required to boost your score. If you're the competitive type it can also be fun to compete with your colleagues.
